The Problem

Recruiters search with filters. Most profiles fail them.

When a recruiter searches LinkedIn for a Senior Product Manager who knows Figma, SQL, and A/B testing — LinkedIn only shows profiles where those exact terms appear. If your profile uses different language, or simply omits the term, you are invisible.

✗ Profile failing recruiter match
Uses different terminology than recruiter search filters
Describes skills vaguely instead of naming tools explicitly
Missing the exact role title in headline or experience
Skills section lacks keywords the recruiter is filtering by
Profile positioning is unclear for the target specialization
✓ Profile passing recruiter match
Contains the exact role title in headline and recent experience
Lists specific tools, frameworks, and technologies by name
About section reinforces domain keywords from the target role
Skills section maps closely to common recruiter filter terms
Profile positioning clearly matches the target specialization
Features

What the Recruiter Match Checker analyzes

Keyword Overlap Detection
Compares your profile keywords against the skills and terms associated with your target role, showing exactly what matches and what is missing.
Role Title Alignment
Checks whether your headline and experience sections contain the target role title — a critical factor recruiters rely on when filtering candidates.
Skill Coverage Analysis
Measures how broadly your hard skills and tools map to the skills a recruiter would use as search filters for this role category.
Missing Keyword Report
Lists keywords associated with the target role that are absent from your profile. If you have these skills, add them explicitly — they must appear in writing.

FAQ

Common questions

What should I enter as the target role?
Type the job title you are targeting, along with key skills or industry terms you want to rank for. For example: 'Senior Data Engineer Python AWS Spark Fintech'. The more specific you are, the more accurate the match analysis.
How does the recruiter match score work?
The score is based on how many keywords from your target role appear in your profile, whether the role title appears in your profile, and the overall keyword richness of your profile text. It is a deterministic comparison — no AI is involved.
Is this the same as LinkedIn Easy Apply matching?
No. This tool focuses on recruiter search — specifically, what LinkedIn Recruiter shows when a recruiter types in a search query. Easy Apply matching is a separate, different system.
Does my data get stored or sent to a server?
No. All analysis runs entirely in your browser. Your profile text and target role are never sent to any server.
What if I have a skill but I scored it as missing?
The tool can only detect what is written in your profile text. If a skill is not written out explicitly — even if you have it — it will not appear in recruiter search results either. Add it to your skills section and profile text.
